As a former captain of the New York Rangers, I understand and appreciate the power of a successful team dynamic like that of The Funding Network-Toronto. It allows people to come together for the common purpose of philanthropy, while enabling them to choose where their money should be focused. I became interested in this unique organization because I believe in the smaller sized charities that they are supporting. I like the feeling I get when I walk out of the meeting room, knowing I just made a difference in whatever causes I have chosen to support. Now, I look forward to increasing my involvement with The Funding Network-Toronto in the future and seeing what new heights we can reach.
