Funding Events

Each event begins with delicious refreshments, the project presentations, and time for questions and discussions with the presenting organizations. Then an informal pledging session takes place. Each person is entirely free to offer support to all, some, or none of the projects presented on a given day.

Those registered to attend can request written information about presenting organizations before the funding event so they have a chance to do some initial reflection.

Two events per year are held in central Toronto and they are attended by about 60 to 80 people. Each event has presentations by three to five charities and raises an average of $10,000 to $12,000 for each charity.
