Urban Youth Riding Project

Working with the Toronto Police Services, the Aboriginal Peackeeping Unit, the OPP, and the RCMP, The Urban Youth Riding Project reaches youth in some of Toronto's most disadvantaged neighbourhoods and rural youth from the Alderville First Nation. By connecting youth with horses, leadership and social skills are learned, and relations are improved with police in their neighbourhoods. We will make it possible for 12 youths to participate in the program.
